Shattered by James Patterson is the new part or book of the Michael Bennet series. James Patterson has many bestselling series under his belt. But Michael Bennet wins readers' hearts in every scene.
Bennet is a detective who works on certain crimes in New York City. The Bennett family gives readers primary reasons for cheering the character. At the end of the last book, Bennet married Mary Catherine by falling in love with him.
Shattered by James Petterson and co-author James O. Born started when Michael and mary finished their honeymoon period in Ireland. They are preparing to return, and Michael misses the important calls from his partner, who was an abduction agent, and his close friend. Emily Parker also has a significant role in the whole series. However when Michael and Mary come back he finds out Emily is missing while jogging and her car was also found near a local grocery store parking lot. Emily always has a special place in Michael's heart as both work together on plenty of cases. However, the couple helped Michael during the investigation and urged him to do whatever he needed to do to find Emily.
Michael follows the investigation with an anarchist group that leads the clues between Washington, Los Angeles, and New york. However, he hears several lurid rumours but doesn't lose hope in finding Emily, his precious partner, and friend.
Overall, Michael Bennett is excellent Shattered by James Patterson and James O. Borns. It was one worth reading and a fantastic story.
